Networking exam tomorrow! It is the last one before xmas! Cant wait for it to be over, I still have to do my xmas shopping, working till midnight for the rest of the week and I still have to pack for Prague, we are heading out on Sunday:) I definitely deserve this break:)

Almost done...

Working on the presentation for IT Training for tomorrow now, I think it will be a lot of work, especially since my group and I are just starting to work on it today. I hate presentations, I am usually crap at them, no matter how much I prepare for them! But it shouldn’t be too bad, not too much pressure since I think I almost passed that subject already! Last week was very hectic, we had 5 exams, which went ok I think! I am not too confident about Sys Admin though, the lab exam was a bit confusing. Happy though that we are almost finished, and will start our work placement soon enough! Can’t wait:)

Short blog this week. Came back from work not too long ago, doing college work now. Good luck on our 5 exams next week, I know I will need it!

Wednesday:D

It’s Wednesday morning and I’m in a very good mood today, probably because it is actually sunny and warm out. I have an exam today in Web Publishing, did some study for it, and hope I will do well. Trying to keep a positive attitude about college-all I can do is try, and hopefully I will succeed! I have nothing major to do for college tomorrow, so I will go swimming or to the gym.

Busy week

This week is an extremely busy one. Loads of college work to do and hopefully I will get something done on Friday, as it is our day off. I am working tonight, will have to leave college early to get to work on time. Booked flights to Poland for January, I will stay there for 4 days. I had to book something, as I am going to do my work placement from the middle of Jan to the end of Sept. This is probably the only time I will go home this year, so I am going to keep this a secret from my parents, and will arrive as a surprise. I am not definite if this is a good or a bad idea, but I will see how that goes:P

The Weekend

This weekend flew, I started working in Dunnes last Friday and worked 2 shifts since then. It's the crappiest job ever, but I have to survive it until the middle of December! Going away for Xmas to Prague-that might be a small problem since I have a Xmas contract with Dunnes:D Booked a hotel in Prague this evening, I hate booking hotels because I always freak out if I get a crap one. Can't wait for the work placement, an office job will be great:P

Sunday night

Sunday night! Getting ready for college tomorrow, didn’t do any work this weekend-kind of disappointed with myself! I am starting work in Dunnes tomorrow, what joy:P Can't wait to put on my Dunnes uniform for the first time:P At least I will earn a bit of cash before Christmas. See ya all tomorrow morning!

Job hunting

This week is quite a busy one, I have finally got a work placement, and it's with Musgraves. Wasn't very happy about it at first, because it's quite far away from where I live, but I am sure I will manage to get there by bus! Still looking for a part time job, and no luck! Getting quite frustrated because I never had trouble finding a job before! It’s nice to have all weekends off though, and snooze all day :D

Boring week so far, finding it hard to adjust to college again, especially after the summer. We are slowly getting some assignments and tests, and trying to find a work placement for the 2nd semester. Bit worried that I won't find a suitable work placement, a lot of the offers we got seem to be out of the city, which might be a problem as I don't drive. I am trying not to worry about it and see how it goes! Hopefully this weekend, if the weather will be good, I will go to Killarney and do the bike trip around Muckross Lake! Did it last week, it was great fun, but really tiring. Managed to do it in an hour and a half, but didn't see much! Can’t wait for the weekend!

Summer is almost here:)

Since its middle of May, many of you (probably like me) are delighted that we are almost done with study for this year! Yay! This year passed really quickly for me and I can’t believe we are going into second year now. I think I learned lots this year, more about what I want to do in the future and how to manage work and college at the same time. Now when I think of the summer, I am really glad I will only have to focus on work, and won’t have to study for 3 months! Hopefully it will be some sort of a break. I have loads I want to do this summer so I am really excited! Also, I am really excited about my new job that I just got, I am going to do reception work in UCC, and I hope I will manage to put away some money, and not be spending everything I earn like always :P . Also I am going to Barcelona in August , I have never been there so it better be good! I hope this summer I will be able to learn how to drive (finally) and develop some sort of a new hobby or find something interesting to do. I also want to try windsurfing, since I heard it is great fun so hopefully the weather will be good. What are your plans for the summer?
